Kinkaku-Ji 

Kinkakuji (金閣寺, Golden Pavilion)

is a Zen temple in northern Kyoto.

Known for its top two floors fully covered by golden foil.

8:30 ~ 16:30 (December to February)

Ninna-ji

Ninnaji (仁和寺)

is one of the famous temples in the Kyoto area

which are listed as World Heritage Sites

Opening Hours:9:00 ~ 17:00

(until 16:30 from December to February)

*Entrance closes 30 minutes before closing time.

Admission fee: Free

*Exceptinally takes 600 JPY during the season of cherry blossom.

*Takes extra 500 JPY to enter the Goten palace building

Daitoku-ji

Daitokuji (大徳寺)

is a fully walled temple in northern Kyoto.

Known as the headquater of the Rinzai sect.

Also, known for Daitokuji school (Japanese Zen Buddhism school),

many famous Japanese priests graduated from.

Daisenin(大仙院) Opening hours : 9:00 ~ 16:30 / Admission fee: 400 JPY

Ryogenin(龍源院) Opening hours : 9:00 ~ 16:30 / Admission fee: 350 JPY

Zuihoin(瑞峰院) Opening hours : 9:00 ~ 17:00 / Admission fee: 400 JPY
